First day of med school starts tomorrow.

The first lecture will be a discussion group about how unfair the healthcare system of America is. The required reading was Not in My Neighborhood: How Bigotry Shaped a Great American City. Basically I’m going to spend the next 3 days talking about white cis-gender heterosexual male privilege in healthcare with a class that’s majority white.

Wish me luck to keep calm, articulate clearly, and not get too aggressive because this is either going to go really well or really poorly.
